Patient Care Journey
Joyce began in patient care at a major regional healthcare system, then worked as a dental assistant mastering sculpting, CAD/CAM, and cosmetic precision. She later earned a B.S. with a Pre-Dental concentration—merging science, artistry, and empathy.
From Passion to Practice
Joyce founded Grin & Glow to provide professional teeth whitening services in Rochester, NY. Recognizing a gap in the beauty industry, she became a certified teeth whitening technician, offering safe, effective, and highly sought-after services.She later expanded her expertise by studying tooth gem artistry, launching training courses, workshops, and services that quickly became industry-leading.

While training her students, Joyce realized that many aspiring beauty professionals lacked the business acumen needed to succeed. To bridge this gap, she authored a business starter book, providing entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge to build and scale their own ventures successfully.
