Meet Joyce Parker
Founder of Grin & Glow® · Lead Academy Educator
Joyce's professional journey began in patient care and continued through dental assisting, where she developed an appreciation for clinical precision, cosmetic detail, and the importance of making people feel comfortable in a care setting.
With a bachelor's degree focused on pre-dental studies, she brought together her scientific foundation, creative interests, and entrepreneurial vision to establish Grin & Glow® in Rochester, New York.
What began as a boutique smile-care studio grew into a broader mission: to make thoughtful oral aesthetics experiences accessible while helping aspiring professionals approach entrepreneurship with greater knowledge and confidence.
Through Grin & Glow® Academy, Joyce shares lessons from her professional experience, combining individualized instruction with practical insight into the realities of building and operating a service business.

01 Is training virtual or in person?
Both. Grin & Glow® Academy offers private 1:1 teeth whitening education virtually or in person at our Rochester, New York studio.
02 How much does training cost?
Complete tuition is $1,750, including the studio kit. A $525 enrollment deposit reserves your place, with a remaining balance of $1,225.
03 How far in advance should I book?
Please schedule at least 14 days in advance for domestic training. International students should allow at least 21 days and potentially longer depending on shipping.
Training is scheduled by appointment, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, and Saturday, 9 AM–3 PM Eastern Time. Sunday is closed.
04 When is the remaining balance due?
Domestic balances are due at least 14 days before training. International balances are due at least 21 days before training. Kits ship only after full payment. A domestic booking exactly 14 days away requires full tuition at booking.
05 What is included in enrollment?
Private 1:1 instruction, a professional whitening studio kit, an 80-page training manual, Academy completion certificate upon successful completion, and a complimentary physical copy of From Hustle to Cash Flow.
06 Does certification authorize me to perform whitening?
No. The Academy certificate documents course completion. It is not a state-issued license or dental qualification. Rules governing teeth whitening vary by jurisdiction. Students must independently verify all applicable licensing, scope-of-practice, product-use, and business requirements before offering services.
07 Are whitening results guaranteed?
No. Whitening results and sensitivity vary by client. Education includes realistic expectations, client screening, protective considerations, and appropriate referrals.
08 Is support available after training?
Graduates may reach out with occasional follow-up questions. Enrollment does not include unlimited coaching, ongoing clinical supervision, or guaranteed business results.
